Leith is one of the best places to go in Edinburgh if you want to be out of the clamour of the city centre, and yet still be guaranteed of top notch eateries. This beautiful little red brick building houses a great wine bar which also doubles as an extremely good restaurant. Mostly fish, there are usually always meat and veggie options too. This place works equally well for a working lunch as an after work meal, and either way, you've got to sample the wine. The conservatory at the back and the floating outside tables are particularly great in the summer, when the sun is shining.
