The decor here is unusual, with false windows covered with wooden blinds and cork tiles on the walls but somehow it seems to work. Its slightly darker atmosphere makes it feel, to me, more like an evening restaurant than a lunchtime one, and theres is something of a 1980's elegance about it - which may seem odd, but I do mean it as a compliment. The standards here are what you'd expect from any Indian restaurant on the menu. Apparently it is a favourite haunt for Hearts players (the local football team) and often, fans come here for dinner hoping to do some star spotting.
