Bannerman's erstwhile back room is a good little venue for local bands. The guys on stage here are usually just getting going and audiences are often made up of friends of the various bands, but you can catch a few gems here, and it's not expensive. Be warned though, pick the wrong day of the week and you'll hit karaoke night!
