If you've seen 'Trainspotting' then you will have already seen where The Venue is located. Racing down a set of spiral stone stairs, Ewan McGregor's character is impeded by karma in the form of a car. The camera shot shows the road he was running down and in the bottom left hand corner is The Venue. In addition to live music, on its three floors The Venue hosts a variety of different club nights where techno and house music in all their numerous forms and sub-genres reign supreme. If you're at the bar, request to be served by Luke, who is a Scottish Catalonian with a silver tongue and an strong pouring arm.
