Formerly a giant bank, the Standing Order is now a giant pub. Not to be confused with George Street's other more sleekly designed bars, the Standing Order is one of the best places for value for money, as the drink prices of a vast selection of beers are below the going rate. There are many seating sections and the novelty of having no music to drown out conversation. Always busy, yet in possession of one of the longest bars in the city, it fortunately doesn't take long to get served.
