Step inside the Raj and you are greeted not with colonial decadence, but with an absolute riot of colour. A seat in the huge bay windows will then grant you a relaxing and glorious view over the water of Leith, at an area that has grown more and more invigorated with each passing year. Sipping on an ice-cold Indian beer and noshing some great curry (a word apparently invented by the British), you've got a full on hugely enjoyable evening. Aftwerwards, if you ask nicely (and in advance) they have a hookah room next door, for those who like a non-nicotine smoking opportunity.
