This former coal mine tells the story of the area's industrial history, including tales of the industries located here and the people who worked in them. On site are a Hoffman brick kiln and a Cornish Beam engine, unique in Scotland. There is a programme of regular exhibitions suitable for all, and out of hours, you can take an audio tour on your mobile phone.
