La Partenope specialises in Neapolitan (that's southern Italy, darlings!) style food and wine. There's a very distinct seafood theme to the extremely popular specials menu, but that said, the A la Carte menu is huge and also caters for those who are not that way inclined. The food is excellent - really, really excellent, the service slick, the surroundings comfortable and intimate (they have lots of squashy sofas in their new extension that you can move to after your meal) and the staff are friendly and fun, all of which undoubtedly contributes to the fact that it's so busy! Cost wise, it won't break the bank either - the house wine especially is very reasonable.
