If the abrasive grinding of the Earth's plates along a fault line doesn't remotely equate to the volume at which you like your rock music played, then Opium is where you should go. What is notable about this feast of feedback is that it is contained within a club whose exterior would not look out of place in the trendy setting of George Street. The ubiquitous wooden floorboards and reflective silver bars are juxtaposed with the riffs of Rage Against The Machine and the nuances of Nirvana. Another venue with no entry fee, this is the nightclub equivalent of bringing a box of fireworks to a business banquet.
