Part of the Malmaison Hotel, don't worry about this place having a 'canteen feel', or that it's going to be run-of-the-mill food-wise either. The modern revamp of the warm wood and leather theme of the typical brasserie has a lovely buzzy vibe to it, and the staff are charming. These people know how to cook, and cook well. If you're into your steak, go here, and see it done well, or well done, depending on your preference. And yes, desserts can be done well too, but when I asked my friend to describe her chocolate souffle, the response was 'words fail me' - trust me, that's good, very good, in translation...
