Picture the Liquid Room and you think of a club submerged in water, where mermaids emerge from sea foam, waves crash against the bar and Neptune himself presides over the wheels of steel, with Al Green's Take Me To The River on permanent rotation. Sounds good, but isn't remotely accurate. Despite this, the Liquid Room provides an accessible variety of DJ sets, residencies and live bands. Snatch provides maniacal nonsense on a Thursday night courtesy of compere Harry Ainsworth, while a shower of power chords soak your eardrums at Indie Night, Evol, on a Friday.
