From the minute you enter Garfunkel's, you know what to expect; and you get it. An enjoyable meal without culinary wizardry, but with enough care and simplicity to fill a hungry stomach. The menu is largely unsurprising, with burgers and the like, but a few meals will catch the eye for their variation and creativity, which is always good to see. A prominent feature is the standard of service, which should be commended. All the staff appear to be foreign, yet the coped wonderfully with the language and their added attention and pleasant demeanour, raised the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
