Daniel's has outlasted most of the other restaurants that set up in Commercial Quay by offering good quality bistro food at reasonable prices. With a range covering traditional French options and a few extras, you can go for a casserole or a pizza, and most things in between. Because of this, it works for a coffee as well as a three-course meal, and that ability to be all things to all people is probably why Daniel's is still here, when many other good restaurants have gone the way of the Dodo in this area. The huge selection of mostly French wines and some great service doesn't hurt either.
