Set on the Portobello Promenade this impressive three storey turreted building boasts an edifice that would not look out of place on the set of a 1920's period film - a fantastic setting for a great meal. Having only been under new ownership since October 2004 this popular bar/bistro/restaurant is fast gaining a reputation for tasteful and comfortable surroundings, good food, and even better value. Well known for its seafood dishes, I'd also say the fillet of beef is something you might not want to miss. The menu isn't huge but more than adequate, offering a range of light bites, salads, sandwiches and desserts - always with a few tempting 'specials'. So if you're out of town give it a try.
