The City Cafe is the pub equivalent of that person at school who made zero effort when it came to their appearance yet still managed to look cool. Once inside, you realise that, other than a well constructed bar, the City Cafe isn't even a distant cousin of the George Street clique, with its pool tables, internet access, and underground club. Not only that but an array of spirits which reiterates that: "This Is Scotland and we like a drink." If you want to listen to some good tunes and not worry about your trainers squeaking across the floorboards, then this laid back pub is for you. They also do good soup.
