On my first ever visit to the Citrus Club I felt it was unpromising as I walked in the door. Basically, a couple of concrete corridors lead you to a large concrete dance floor with a concrete balcony round about it. Then I heard the music, which was, I think, the Police, followed by some Ska and then maybe The Wonderstuff and I barely moved from the dance floor for the rest of the night. What I seem to have walked in on was a fairly typical night there. Spent an evening here with a group of friends a while back, and came out so pumped up at 3 in the morning that we all went next door and had a sit down meal in the pizzeria before going home!
