This is the place to go if the idea of Japanese food scares you. The room itself is informal - more like a really big living room than a restaurant, so you feel relaxed, not apprehensive, as you scan the menu. Most of the dishes have explanations beside them, and while fish lovers are particularly catered for, there're plenty of other things available too. The Chicken Teryaki and the Beef Yakisoba are especially delicious, and you have to try their Banana Tempura at least once in your life. This is a lovely, unassuming and popular restaurant with a lot of fans - and rightly so.
