Eating at Bellini is one of those experiences that reminds me just why I like Italian wine and food and so much. They are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their ingredients here and the quirky Chef Angelo Cimini even runs a cookery school to share some of his secrets. Talk about being confident that the customers will like the food - and you will! Chef Angelo's partner Gina runs the restaurant and believes Italian cooking is "the best in the world." Its all to do with they way they treat the ingredients apparently. An Italian chef treats the food the way he would treat a lover. "With tenderness and respect..." Well if our meal was anything to go by (try the amazing Malfatti Pasta with wild mushrooms and truffles) then "Mrs Bellini's" happy, smiling face is not just about running an interesting and successful restaurant...!
