The Park Centre

This 1,000-acre country park was opened in 1980, comprising the land of
three former farms, around a reservoir that was built by German POW's
in 1916. Today, there are forest trails, a play area, picnic tables, a
red deer farm with a herd of 460, a trout farm, fishery, bookable barbecue
sites, and a caravan/camp site. There is also a visitor centre, where
you can pick up leaflets to help you find your way around the park..
