Beecraigs Country Park

This 1,000-acre country park was opened in 1980, comprising the land of three former farms, around a reservoir that was built by German POW's in 1916. Today, there are forest trails, a play area, picnic tables, a red deer farm with a herd of 460, a trout farm, fishery, bookable barbecue sites, and a caravan/camp site. There is also a visitor centre, where you can pick up leaflets to help you find your way around the park..

Park open all year round

Free, with charges for hire of facilities
fishing permits, caravan/camping site, outdoor pursuits
and organised activities.
