Robert Owen was a social reformer who founded a nursery school here as
part of his plans to educate the nation out of poverty and crime. The
school has now been fully restored, and this 3-D ghost story has Annie
McLeod telling of her life at the school in the 1820's. The school also
includes a historic classroom, an interactive gallery and an exhibition
on the restoration of the village. This building is just one part of the
fascinating New Lanark Visitor Centre based in the New Lanark World Heritage
